Has lock-down left you feeling anxious and frustrated? Have your holiday plans evaporated?

Mindfulness could be just the thing you need! It’s a household name these days, but few people understand what it is, and how it helps us become peaceful and happy.

For the first time ever, you can do a mindfulness retreat from your own home.

This workshop will be live streamed on Saturday 30 May 2020 and is available to watch until Saturday 13 June 2020 at 10:00am Melbourne/9:30am NT time.

A MINDFULNESS RETREAT YOU CAN DO FROM HOME

Has lock-down left you feeling anxious and frustrated? Have your holiday plans evaporated?

Mindfulness could be just the thing you need. It’s a household name these days, but few people understand what it is, and how it helps us become peaceful and happy.

For the first time ever, you can do a mindfulness retreat from your own home.

Instead of daydreaming about your next holiday, be transported to our temple via the wonders of modern technology. Resident Teacher and Buddhist monk Gen Dornying will guide you in meditation to experience mindfulness for yourself, and share tips to apply it in daily life.

You don’t need any special equipment for the retreat. Just a device to access the live stream and a comfortable place to sit.

    THE TEACHER

Gen Kelsang Dornying is the Resident Teacher of both Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia, Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne, Darwin and Alice Springs. He has been teaching Kadam Dharma in Australia for over 16 years. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.

Gen Dornying teaches the Teacher Training Program, The Foundation Program, and most of the special courses at KMCA.
