Anxiety and stress are increasingly common in today’s uncertain world. The more we worry, the more our mind tricks us into thinking life is worse than it actually is!

So how does meditation help control this crippling problem? All fears, suffering and pain are feelings, part of the mind and meditation enables us to control these feelings and experience peace, regardless of what is happening in our life. This inner peace is the direct antidote to worry and anxiety.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Dornying is the Resident Teacher of both Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia, Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne, Darwin and Alice Springs. He has been teaching Kadam Dharma in Australia for over 18 years. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.
